A ride on the Nature Train
(Trenonatura)

Discover the beauty of the Siena landscape with Italian heritage railways. The nature train lets you travel not only through the beautiful countryside, but also takes you on a voyage back in time.
The Nature trains (Trenonatura) propose several different itineraries in one of the old railways carriages (“centoporte”-100 doors) pulled by an original “littorina” engine. Along the trip, visitors can leave the train at any of the romantic old stations and take a walk along the marked trails to visit churches, villages and castles, and stopping off at one of the many farmhouses to taste some of the local products.
